50% of all all abortions (~500,000 annually) come from those living at or below the poverty line, people who are stuck in cyclical, generational patterns of destruction. Many make that fateful decision out of fear, fear of not having the necessary resources to raise their child on their own. 

We're a growing network of churches, clinics, small groups/community groups and related non-profits that want moms with unplanned pregnancies to know, if they choose life for their child, we won't let them struggle. We will be there for them, their baby and hopefully the father in a significant way, not just for nine months but for a lifetime.

We want to make this pledge loud and clear because somewhere along the way we've gotten the reputation that we only care that the baby is born and then will abandon mother and child once they are. Not only have the consequences of this reputation been tragic, but if true, falls far short of what God has always called His church to do. He has called us to save the lives of babies but also, to give them and all involved the "abundant life" (John 10:10) Jesus came to bring. 

What is the abundant life? We believe any definition of the abundant life would include a family where more than one "parent" is present. A family where physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met. A family that comes around that child, mother and all involved in such a way that leads to a life of righteousness, dignity, purpose and human flourishing. That kind of family sounds a lot like the Church to us. 

As a result our network of churches, clinics, community/small groups and related non-profits have pledged to help meet needs in a gospel-centric way, a way that will help break the cyclical, generational bondage and suffering we so often see in these situations.
